NEW DELHI: Amid growing divergence between India and Canada over the unchecked Khalistani extremism in the North American country, the premier of Saskatchewan province in Canada, Scott Moe, on Monday tweeted a letter that trade and export development minister Jeremy Harrison wrote to the federal trade minister in Canada last Friday about the damage Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is doing to India-Canada trade.
“Does Trudeau even understand the damage he is doing to our trade relationship with India – one of our most important trading partners?” he asked while posting the letter on micro-blogging site X.
