NEW DELHI: Congress candidate Hibi Eden won Kerala’s Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency.
The Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency went to polls on April 26 during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 along with other constituencies in Kerala. The polling percentage 68.29 was amongst the highest in the country. Encompassing urban and semi-urban areas, this parliamentary seat mirrors Kerala’s socio-economic mosaic.
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Congress candidate Hibi Eden emerged victorious, securing 4,91,263 votes (50.78%), while LDF’s P. Rajeev garnered 3,22,110 votes (33.3%). The constituency witnessed a high voter turnout of 77.6%.
