Team India`s first T20 World Cup 2024 is being played against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Earlier, the “Men in Blue” played a warm-up game at the venue against Bangladesh in which they came victorious by a margin of 60 runs.

With Yashasvi Jaiswal in India`s T20 World Cup 2024 side, the question arises for the suitable opening duo. Following IPL 2024 performances, there are higher chances of Kohli opening the innings with traditional opening batsman Rohit Sharma. If Jaiswal secures his spot as an opener, then Team India might get a proper lefty-righty opening pair.
