Patna: Sanjiv Mukhia, alleged mastermind of the NEET-UG 2024 question paper leak case, had also orchestrated the leak of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE 3.0) question papers, economic offences unit (EOU) of Bihar Police has claimed. The revelation came after the recent arrest of four people from West Bengal in connection with constable recruitment examination question paper leak that happened on October 1, 2023.

“The arrested people were identified as Kaushik Kumar Kar and Sanjay Das, both residents of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, and Suman Biswas from Kolkata. Another arrested person, Saurabh Bandhopadhay, is a resident of Lucknow. These suspects were arrested on June 26 night in connection with the constable recruitment examination question paper leak. The exam was cancelled by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) on October 2 after the question paper and answers went viral on social media platforms few hours before the exam,” a senior EOU official said.

The question papers of BPSC TRE 3.0, which took place on March 15, 2024, got leaked on March 13 and 14, prior to the exam.

“Printing, packaging, and transportation of question papers were outsourced by CSBC to Caltex Multiventure Private Limited, a Kolkata-based company. However, investigations revealed that Caltex is a shell company. Caltex outsourced all CSBC exam-related work to Blessing Secured Press Private Limited, owned by the arrested Kaushik from Kolkata,” the DIG added.
