The diverse nation that is India has iconic street food staples, each of which rules its own corner of the country. Raffles Singapore celebrates their fascinating flavours in a festival curated by award-winning Chef de Cuisine Kuldeep Negi. From July 1 to 14, the Street Food Festival will be hosted at the historic Tiffin Room.

Introducing a rich and evocative gastronomic journey, the experience commences with Dahi Puri, Mumbai’s beloved sweet and savoury street snack, as a warm welcome from Chef Kuldeep. This marks a fitting start, brimming with a seamless amalgamation of flavours, accompanied with a refreshing mint coriander beverage.

Featuring renowned street food specialities of India, this limited-time menu draws inspiration from Chef Kuldeep’s heritage and extensive travel across India, offering guests a flavourful journey to discover iconic street food in a multi-course experience.

The culinary journey continues with Akki Roti, a local speciality of Karnataka, comprising rice flour flatbread elevated with coconut, and prepared together with crispy fried prawns and fresh tomato coconut chutney, or its vegetarian alternative that features Indian cottage cheese in place of prawns.
