It’s a rare opportunity for art lovers in Delhi to explore the rich world of Russian art.”
Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov stated, “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Abhay K. and IGNCA for their affection. This exhibition played an important role in raising awareness of contemporary trends in Russian art. As we commemorate Russia Day, let us celebrate the universal language of art that transcends borders and unites people in appreciation of beauty and creativity. May this exhibition serve as a bridge of friendship between Russia and India, fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding.”
Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary of IGNCA, added, “ To commemorate the occasion, IGNCA organised an art exhibition featuring contemporary Russian artists, showcasing their paintings, prints, and photographs. These artworks reflect the essence of Russia and the modern trends in its contemporary art scene. The artworks are from Abhay K.’s collection, acquired during his time in Russia from 2005-2010.
