Chris Pratt is open to the possibility of jumping from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to the DC Universe (DCU). This transition seems more plausible now, given his director friend James Gunn’s move to the DCU, where he’s set to direct the new ‘Superman’ film. Pratt expressed his openness to any DCU role that Gunn thinks would suit him, despite David Corenswet already being cast as Superman.

Balancing Opportunities and Commitments

During a recent encounter in Los Angeles, Pratt mentioned that he’s willing to consider any worthwhile DCU project that fits into his busy schedule. He remains particularly eager to reprise his role as Star-Lord in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise, a character he brought to life under Gunn’s direction. “If there’s a chance to blast off again, count him in!” Pratt says.

Family Ties and Future Prospects

Pratt also acknowledged his connection to Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, his father-in-law, who is known for iconic roles in films. Schwarzenegger has expressed interest in collaborating on a movie with Pratt, a prospect that Pratt finds appealing. However, when it comes to following Schwarzenegger into politics, Pratt humorously remarked that it’s not his strong suit and that he plans to stick to acting.
